Open to internships
I'm Giorgio Bazet, a Computer Science student at UERJ and an IT Management student at UVA. I turn ideas into fast, secure and easy-to-use web products, from the interface to the checkout.
Featured project · 001
Official website and store for UERJ West Zone's athletics club
Institutional website with its own store: sign-in, cart and Pix payments, with the payment back end isolated in a Cloudflare Worker.
[01] PROJECTS
From a Pix checkout to Pac-Man running in the terminal. Live projects open right here, as a live preview.
Solution to an internship coding challenge: a FastAPI back end with PostgreSQL and a vanilla JavaScript front end.
Interactive tool for understanding pointers: declare variables, run C commands and watch memory change.
University project: a homepage gathering educational games built by students to teach kids and teenagers how to code.
Pac-Man rebuilt in JavaScript, with ghosts, scoring and controls for keyboard and mobile.
1typedef struct { 2 Posicao pos; 3 char background_anterior; 4 int dir_x, dir_y; 5} Fantasma; 6 7typedef struct { 8 char **grade; 9 int linhas, colunas; 10 int pontos_totais, pontos_coletados; 11} Mapa;
Terminal Pac-Man written in C, with maps loaded from files, ghosts and ANSI colors.
1printf("\nEntre com a idade: "); 2scanf("%d", &idade); 3 4switch(idade){ 5 case 5: case 6: case 7: 6 printf("\nInfantil A\n"); 7 break; 8 case 8: case 9: case 10: case 11: 9 printf("\nInfantil B\n"); 10 break;
A collection of algorithms, exercises and class code from my Computer Science degree at UERJ.
1class MeuErroPersonalizado(Exception): 2 pass 3 4def funcao(condicao): 5 if condicao: 6 raise MeuErroPersonalizado("Descrição do erro") 7 8try: 9 funcao(True) 10except MeuErroPersonalizado as e: 11 print(f"Erro: {str(e)}")
Exercises covering the language from the basics to modules, files and custom exceptions.
Under construction. More soon.

[03] HOW I WORK
Keys kept out of the browser, server-side validation and protected personal data. Security goes in from the first line, not at the end.
Self-explanatory names, predictable structure and interfaces that don't need a manual. What is easy to read is easy to maintain and grow.
I teach, run workshops and document what I build. Explaining a concept is the fastest way to master it.
[04] ABOUT ME
I study Computer Science at UERJ and IT Management at UVA. Before writing any code, I make sure I understand the whole problem. Then I ship the simplest solution that actually solves it.
On the front end, I work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Angular. On the back end and computing fundamentals, with Python, C, C++ and SQL. Right now I'm going deeper into Python for automation and data, and growing in information security and artificial intelligence.
Teaching has always been part of the path: I finished a teacher-training high school program, served as president of UERJ's Computer Science Student Council and, in 2026, I teach English at UERJ West Zone's college-prep course.
[05] JOURNEY
English classes for students preparing for university entrance exams at UERJ West Zone.
International certification with an average of 169 on the Cambridge English Scale and B2 in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Associate degree in IT Project Management at Universidade Veiga de Almeida.
Represented Computer Science students on the Computer Science Department and School of Exact Sciences and Engineering councils, and organized tech workshops and talks.
Took part in the 1st edition (2025) and the 2nd edition (2026), doing fieldwork as the West Zone representative.
Bachelor's degree at Rio de Janeiro State University, West Zone campus.
Full English course, completed in December 2025.
Instituto de Educação Geraldo de Almeida. Where I learned to teach and to communicate clearly.
